What is the minimum TOEFL/IELTS score I need to be admitted?

TOEFL and IELTS scoreTOEFL candidates are often confused about the kind of scores they would need to get into the most preferred institution of their choice. Good thing with the TOEFL exams are that the candidates are not provided with any kind of minimum marks requirement that would declare you as “pass”. Hence you don’t actually pass or fail in these exams but there are institutions that don’t consider students below a minimum decent requirement and to play safe, you must excel on that.

• Score range for listening section: For this, the score range is again between 0 and 30. Candidates would be required to solve around 34-50 questions keeping this section in mind.
• Score range for speaking section: This section talks about the 6 tasks and the same score range for this one too, 0 to 30.
• Score range for writing section: Candidates are required to write approximately two essays for this section. Again, the score range remains to be between 0 and 30.
